3) THE TEACHINGS OF PAUL, TO THE COLOSSIANS, CENTERED LARGELY AROUND THEIR TENDENCY TO "MIX PHILOSOPHIES AND RELIGIONS" WITH CHRISTIANITY!
4) THIS CITY WAS LOCATED IN "TURKEY"
5) I'M VERY CURIOUS IN REGARDS TO THE "BLACK WRAPPINGS" - DUE TO A MAJOR VISION I HAD IN 2004 - WHERE I WAS STANDING IN A DESERT IN EGYPT - THERE - I WAS CORNERED IN A REMOTE AREA - WHERE I ENCOUNTERED A LARGE GROUP OF PEOPLE - ALL WRAPPED IN THESE MUMMY-LIKE GAUZE - THE GAUZE WAS WHITE - DARK, DIRTY, SANDY SOILED, WHITE - THEY WERE "MULLING AROUND" IN THE AREA - WITH THEIR FOREARMS EXTENDED HEAVENWARD! THEIR GAZES WERE "FRIGHTENING" - THE LORD GAVE A "WORD" - A "DIRECTIVE" - IN A VERY LOUD VOICE, "LOOSE THESE IN EGYPT!! LOOSE THEM AND LET THEM GO! BRING A "NEW HOOD AND A NEW HEAD" TO THESE PEOPLE'S LIVES - THROUGH THE PREACHING OF THE WORD OF GOD"! (THERE WERE MANY MORE DETAILS TO THE DREAM THAT I WON'T BE ABLE TO POST HERE!)

ReplyDeleteLaodiceans trust in their ability to rule themselves, judging and deciding matters to the exclusion of Christ’s rule within His Church.
Laos (people) Dike (decide)! It is a serious time when the people must LOOK to Yahweh (God) for wisdom instead of making decisions themselves!
Also, it was because of INDIFFERENCE that they were judged.
These things were recorded FOR OUR WARNING AND INSTRUCTION. It is wisdom to learn from the mistakes (and warnings) of others, rather than repeat the same mistakes.
